Happy Halloween

Stacy (and Jason) have a tradition of throwing a fantastic Halloween Party with cute kids games. It is probably not a shock to say that Nick's favorite thing is NOT to dress up. Usually he thinks of something very last minute and then throws it on. This year was no different, but it did take him a long time to wash the wax out of his hair! This picture is at the end of the party, but before hand Abby was a cute cat, and Chloe was an Aggie cheerleader. I was a fifties girl and Nick was my stud!

The Bountiful Temple

Abigail is constantly wanting to see mommy and daddy's temple so while we were visiting grandma and grandpa we drove up to the temple to walk around. It was closed so we couldn't go up to it, but as you can see, both girls were jail breakers and found their way through the bars where they took off for a while. After we caught them I had eyes like a hawk the rest of the walk. Chloe made it in one more time but she didn't get far.

I am currently in Utah at Nick's family reunion. We just got back from Bear Lake and besides the sun burns we had a wonderful time. The last picture is of Grandpa Hill. This is a tradition for him to almost tip the chair over while napping. I was very excited because the last time I attempted to water ski I did not get up which was eight years ago and we went out the last morning and with some coaching from Amberly I got up the first time! Yes!

Here are some random pics from May at Seth and Natalie's house in St. George. They had an adorable baby boy April 1st and the whole fam (except Nick) went for the blessing. Yes, we are finally back on with updating this thing, we will see if I keep it up!

So, we haven't fallen off the face of the earth, it just feels like we have. It has been a busy summer and our camera is wigging out on us. I have some fun pictures of Abigail and her "Dennis the Menace" week, I'll post them soon!

Adorable Summer Pics

I know I haven't updated in a while, but that doesn't mean we don't have some really cute pictures! One of my friends bought a "sweet" camera and was needing to take pictures for practice. The girls were her first subjects and the pictures are so cute. We loved this last one of Chloe; Aren't they adorable? (Be careful answering that question-not a good time to joke)

Bedtime Stories

Abigail discovered one of her dad's many skins-a fox skin. She became fixated on it and wanted to know all about it and have it in her sight at all times. I hate the fox skin! I really, really hate it. That night when her dad came home she peppered him with questions (dad, what is that, what happened to it, what's his tail for, etc.). Nick told Abby a bed time story and it was hilarious. He acted out the story of the fox with the skin, a gun, a trap, and a lot of imagination. You see both of them trying the fox skin on, I was offered a turn and adamantely refused.

While I was in Boston, our Church had an all inclusive pine wood derby. Anybody could enter and there weren't any weight limits. I guess there were a lot of interesting entries, but Abby's pink car won! It was the fastest of all the cars (even though it had to be put back together after every race). It even beat Grandma's covered wagon. It was a great activity!

Cute Summer Pics

These are definately some random pictures but they are cute! This is Abigail and her cousin Hunter walking along. I took a picture for two reasons-1 Abigail has her pajamas, crocks, jewelry, and backpack on 2 she is holding hands with Hunter instead of pushing/being pushed.

We forgot to take a blanket with us to work one day and desperately needed one for Chloe's nap. So I took a carrier wrap and mummified her. She was happy in the wrap!

These pictures show Abby with her beautiful Belle jammies, princess fishing pole and sunglasses. She is somewhat of a random child but she is highly entertaining!

New York

Okay, the pictures are a little jumbled and I am still unsure how to manipulate them once they are on the page. But here was the second biggest highlight of the New York trip. The Central Park Carousel! The girls were shocked when I told them this was my first carousel ride-we didn't have a lot of those in Eastern Oregon, but we did have real horses!

Bethany and Jessica

Chloe and I

The crazy clowns in the middle-

Bethany, Rachel, Chloe & I, Amberly, and Jess

Here Chloe looks like a very creepy doll-not quite fake but not real. The motel rooms are all so small in NYC and even though you tell the desk you will have a baby, they don't provide any sleeping arraingments. I felt guilty kicking people out of the bed so we had three in one bed, two in another and Chloe and I on the floor. They were two very long nights!

Grabbing a cheap meal before the shows! Rachel and I went to Wicked (which was fantastic) and Jessica went with Rachel Mann and Bethany to the Little Mermaid. In Rachel's words "Prince Eric was so HOT!"

Chloe and I outside the carousel. I am sporting my new cute sunglasses (Nick's present for Mother's Day).

The Rachels. Rachel man had to buckle up-her horse was getting out of hand!

My riding neighbor Amberly, we led the pack or I guess it would be the herd!

The Disney Store

While we were in New York we went to the Disney Store! It was one of the highlights and we had such a great time. I shopped for Abigail's birthday (that isn't until September) and went a little crazy. Chloe wasn't sure what was going on but she played along with us dressing up and smiling for the camera. Here she is with Aunt Jess-

Sporting the entire Minnie outfit! I wished the dress wasn't $50!

Meeting the Family-

As many of you know, I was able to go to Boston earlier in the month with Chloe Bug. Nick recieved husband of the year award for braving it at home with Abigail for 11 days! Wow, it was brutal at times! We stayed in Utah for a few days before and after the big trip. She met some family for the first time and was a little more receptive than Abby was at this age (for instance she smiled, relaxed and most importantly didn't scowl)!

Chloe with Grandma Zella. She loved her beautiful dress!

With Aunt Vaunzell-I think we have identical pictures with Chloe's daddy on his auntie's lap!

Good ol' Grandpa Dean. Everyone smiles/laughs/enjoys themselves in his presence. What a fun guy!

Chloe wasn't crying with Grandma Hill, but for whatever reason, her little nose is red!

Grandma Peggy! We don't get down to Spanish Fork often, so we were happy to stay an extra day to go visit Grandma. While we love where we are living we miss seeing our family!
